CH-53D/E Trainer Upgrades Contract Awarded
Veraxx Engineering Corporation awarded contract to install aircraft upgrades in the CH-53E trainers at MCAS New River and MCAS Mirimar CA, as well as the CH-53D trainer at MCBH Kaneohe Bay HI. Aircraft upgrades include the addition of the ARC-210 communications suite, ARN-151 Global Positioning System (GPS), 1553B data bus and CDNU display, ANVIS/HUD, AAR-47 missile warning receiver, and Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS).
