CH-46E Trainer Upgrade Contract Awarded
Veraxx Engineering Corporation awarded contract to upgrade the CH-46E Weapons Systems Trainers (WSTs) at MCAS New River and MCAS Mirimar CA. Upgrades include: Rehost Host simulation software from a Harris Nighthawk to real-time Linux PC; Replacement of the tactical environment simulation with the improved USMC Tactical Environment Network (TEN); and Replacement of the aural/ICS with an ASTi digital sound system and HLA voice.
