The project scope consists of design, development, integration, delivery, and logistical support for the hardware and software upgrade of two CH-53E Aircrew Procedures Trainers (APTs), which are located at MCAS New River, NC and MCAS Miramar, CA. The project includes:
- Providing and integrating the host, display graphics, IOS and TEN systems
- Designing and implementing the trainer local area network
- Porting the WST software to the APT computers
- Designing and integrating Blue Force Tracker (BFT) and Directed Infra-Red Countermeasures (DIRCM) systems
- Installing 2 different FLIR models
- Updating the trainer’s computer systems to the latest USMC Information Assurance (IA) standards
