MV-22 Containerized Flight Training Device #7 Conditional Ready For Training

MV-22 Containerized Flight Training Device #7 will enter operation on October 22, 2012 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma Okinawa, Japan. Veraxx Engineering under a prime contract with Bell/Boeing was responsible for the simulation elements software, manufacturing, integration, and delivery of the simulator. Under this contract Veraxx and Bell/Boeing will deliver two fully networked trainers to Okinawa where the second device, CFTD #8, is expected to be Ready For Training by November. These trainers are the final two, out of eight, Containerized Flight Trainers delivered to the Marine Corps. The Bell/Boeing/Veraxx team has recently been awarded an additional eight MV-22 CFTDs for the Marine Corps.
